3 Quick Apply Full-time 7 hours ago Full Job Description We are seeking an experienced qualified individual to join our Credit Department.
Requirements for this position include strong written and verbal communication skills, the ability to apply logic to solve complex problems, evaluate financial statements for evaluating customer's creditworthiness, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to handle sensitive issues in a tactful and professional manner.
The primary requirements of this position include:
Previous Business or Credit experience, or undergraduate degree in Business Administration/Accounting / Finance.
Ideally, experience in manufacturing or retail industry.
Detailed analysis and careful review of financial statements, including 10Q and 10K financial statements for establishing customer credit limits.
Annual review of customer accounts to determine creditworthiness using financial statements, bank information and trade information.
Evaluate results of investigations, prepare report of findings using financial reporting tools, and assign credit limits based upon the pre-determined guidelines.
Careful decision making for releasing customer orders on a daily basis based on the customer's creditworthiness.
Communication with internal departments to resolve customer issues and meet department objectives.
Efficient evaluation of all claims received from customers in your portfolio for validity and collect balances due.
Perform root cause analysis on repetitive disputes.
Strong numeric aptitude to resolve customer claim information and account reconciliation.
Monthly monitoring of advertising accruals for customer accounts and prepare reports to management.
Routine discussion and review of financial information with customer accounts to insure Bachelor's degree required.
Experience with Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word is required.
Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills are important to the position.
Work hours Mon-Fri 8AM-5PM, after trained option for up to 2 days per week work from home.
Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
